Its going to be very much of an Audio Event, why anyone would want to come who is not into it is beyond me. I understand marriage and togethernes but if its like the last one someone not into it will likely be bored, but hey, the group should be a "lively" and entertaining bunch. My wife just smiles and tells me to have fun without her.

Frizz is into sound, think someone not into it is going to be hip her saying how low the extension of a component or speaker is? :)

Just a few more days, going to be great.

I just realized something. For some reason I was thinking it would cost me $400 for gas alone. I dont know where the hell I got that. I can get over 350 miles to a tank and a tank costs me $60 at $3/gallon. So its 600 miles to Polk. Now thats 4 fillups round trip. Now hell in the name of God did I figure up $400???

Oh well its good news! That gives me $160 to spend on other stuff!

Whoa... are you doing 100MPH on 95?? And that's assuming no traffic on 95 or 495.

Where are you in Derwood? I was in King Farm until a couple weeks ago, now I'm in the north part of Mont. Vill. Good to see another local Polk fan along with F1 and doro.

I will be there both days. Sorry I haven't been on the board for a few weeks. I developed Bell's palsy and it hasn't gone away yet but I am coming anyway. I will be bringing a pair of Polk SDA 2's to Mark's on Saturday. I don't need them anymore now that I have my SRS 2.3 TL's completely overhauled. I don't want to bring them back to PA so make me an offer. See everybody on Friday.

OK maybe 30min Beltway to beltway. I live right off Muncaster Rd about 3.5 miles from King Farm Safeway or 3.5 minutes going only 60MPH ;) You probably use Muncaster RD as a short cut to B-more.

call the Hilton directly... and tell them you are with the Polkfest.. and they should be able to hook you up. I ran into the same problem. I guess only a certain number of rooms were reserved for Polkfest.

Good luck. If they are out of rooms completely, let me know. i have an idea for you.

Did that, they are booked up. PM your way... Oh ****... :(

Ant, If you get jammed, want to share a room? . I got mine reserved (must have been one of the last) too late for the club polk discount though. I think I requested the one King bed, but I'm sure they got a cot they can chuck in there if need be. If you get another room, thats fine, but I dont want you to sit out for lack of lodging.
