    Speaking of Ford...
Well -- I had no idea that the genesis of the pickup "truck" was so nuanced!
I guess I should be more tolerant of the Ford Maverick, Hyundai Santa Fe, Honda Ridgeline, etc.

I am still gonna be less tolerant of monster pickups with full four-door cabs and "afterthought"-sized beds, though. :# I am old, so I've earned my curmudgeon-hood. B)

Maverick...I love mine. I didn't realize one needs to be "tolerant" to a vehicle that someone else owns and drives. Falls into the nunya category.

NUNYA?? We used to say that back when I was in the AF.....hadn't heard that in forever. We'd say, "Nunya faceballs business"....only we didn't say faceballs :D

So... last night there was supposed to be a pretty good chance of seeing aurora borealis in these parts. On all of the other recent nights with good odds of seeing the aurora, we had cloudy weather. Last night was perfect.
Only problem was -- no aurora, at least that I could see. :(
Didn't stop me from looking for about an hour, on and off, here and there in the night sky.
Sometimes with a camera and tripod. :)
