    Not doing it wrong if it works and Joe Homeowner is obviously making it work with what he has. More than likely he doesn't have an impact or compressor as he doesn't even have a decent car jack. If anyone has worked on those nuts they would know that quite often even a good quality snap on air impact with lots of air pressure behind it won't budge those nuts.
    Two strong baboons; one with a 3/4'' t bar and pipe and the other with a heavy duty pipe wrench with a pipe for the win.
