I hope all the surgeries go well.

Then lay off the bean burritos for a while, ok?
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

Best wishes and prayers. Insist on solid copper, no PEX or PVC. You'll do fine.
Edit: Oh my, talking about waste not supply, go with whatever the doc's recommend I guess. :)
Best to use all your own parts!

You're a Marine, so you got this.
As a Marine, you're supposed to be surrounded.
As you can see by all the well wishers, in this case they're all friendlies, so while it's a bit of a pain in the a$$, it's no sweat 🤗
At least you don't have to worry about sand fleas.

Time to drag this back out… tomorrow begins the workups for the surgery to put my septic system back together. I will have consults with cardio, general surgeon, urology, and colonoscopies done. Then I will be meeting again with the surgeon doing the reassembly of my colon. He feels that the surgery will take place during the first half of July. Three procedures will be done at the same time, and will take 7 to 9 hours to complete, followed by 7 to ten days in the hospital for recovery and to ensure the plumbing work holds up without complications.

    Getting old sucks…

    Good luck man

    7-9 hours

That’s a long surgery, this must be complex. I’m sure you have a highly competent surgeon. These guys who do these multi hour surgeries are commendable. I remember being scrubbed in a few of these when I was in med school… you wonder how they can hold their bladder for that long.

I’m sure it’ll go well. You’ll be fine.
