866jr tubes in the P/S of Gary Kaufman's DIY SE 211 stereo power amplifier -- his daily driver for his marvelous Altec A5-500 loudspeakers (replete with 1505 horns and 288 treble drivers -- and Jean Hiraga's XOs). Nice hifi.The UV's so bright, I gotta wear shades...

Gorgeous photo of a gorgeous - albeit very cheap - Chinese ValveArt branded 2A3.
My son took this photo, which is why it's better than any of mine.
These tubes had zero cachet, but they sounded good to me and - in the mid/late 1990s - cost $20 a pop. Just a notch up from the completely generic Chinese versions.
I wish they were still around/available. -
