    Thanks for sharing that!
Looks nice although not really quite my kinda hifi junk.

If you like that (and/or the rather more esoteric stuff that I dream about, hifi wise), there's a guy on Flikr whose albums you might like, too. :)

You would think that turntable would be used for something better than "The Bodyguard" soundtrack as well.

I honestly feel exhausted looking at systems like this.

I will never forget the day we sold my Dad's Grande Utopias... 5 men and a fork lift, honestly makes you have a head ache just thinking about it!

I'm sure it sounds good, but then again maybe not. I've heard alot of bad audio from systems like this!
    - Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

With a system like that....the chair is or would be minuscule and could have cost more than many a whole system on this forum. Just sayin'...

I'm going to venture a guess that chair is probably in the $2-$3K range.

A more comfortable chair might detract from alertness during critical listening sessions.

In all seriousness -- to me, one of the small pleasures of hifi is to drift off into a brief, shallow sleep whilst listening to great music, well reproduced. The ultimate relaxation, e.g., on a Sunday evening.

You actually want a chair like this that doesn't have a head rest or anything around your ears for the sound to bounce off of. So acoustically, this is an excellent chair choice for that room.

I picked up a push back reclining "accent chair" to replace my Ikea Poang chair. I still have the Ikea as it holds some sentimental value but the new chair is fantastic, soft without being too soft, low backrest so as not to influence reflections from the back and side walls, and above all else, was $50 (hardly) used.

I have a big poofy cloth loveseat to help absorb reflections and cushion my GF and I's butts. Occasionally my daughter and I sit together and enjoy music. No one else is allowed there because they don't know how to shut the F**k up and listen. :p
