I bought the mezzo utopia from the owner of stealth audio and picked them up from his mansion in Maryland
He was slightly offended I had never heard of his cables before then

That’s how I feel about my L800’s… I could spend three or four times more to get even close to what they do and still not get the soundstage they present. The Gear... The Kharma Enigma Veyron system is currently the most advanced high-end audio system in the world, with the Enigma Veyron 1D being the ultimate. The Enigma Veyron 1D is fully equipped with the in-house developed Omega-F drivers and have the biggest Diamond tweeter cone surface ever produced.
The EV-1D is equipped with Diamond lotus flower, consisting of 8 Diamond tweeters of 25mm and 50mm.
Besides the Omega-F drivers and the Diamond tweeter flower, the stand of the EV-1D is also something very special. The Enigma Veyron is decoupled from the surroundings by a minimum contact surface created with Carborundum balls placed on Diamonds.
It's a little bit more than the turbines but I hear ya'. I'll tell you this.....I damned sure would not mind listening to them. Who knows? They could sound like ****, but on the other hand?

I was just making a wise-crack, since @nooshinjohn mentioned “turbine”.
“Who knows? They could sound like ****.”
^^^Exactly.^^^
Even if they managed to sound anything like their asking price (which I seriously doubt they come remotely close to accomplishing), my listening preferences would lead me to other speakers that cost far less.CD Players: Sony CDP-211; Sony DVP-S9000ES; Sony UDP-X800M2 (x2); Cambridge Audio CXC

If you had the wallet that spoke otherwise....and this was still your hobby, the bills were paid and you had a plethora of leftover? Would this still be the case?
For some folks out there? This is literally chump change. Not to us, obviously but...

I helped a local friend set up his Kharma db9s, a month later he purchased a Kharma MIDI Grande… one of the speakers you have above.
The veyron is even a step higher.
1.5M though… that’s a whole lot of cash burn right there.
Not our kinda of purchase, those guys who buy those don’t hang out in forums like we do.Magico M2, JL113v2x2, EMM, ARC Ref 10 Line, ARC Ref 10 Phono, VPIx2, Lyra Etna, Airtight Opus1, Boulder, AQ Wel&Wild, SRA Scuttle Rack, BlueSound+LPS, Thorens 124DD+124SPU, Sennheiser, Metaxas R2R
