Wow this is so weird, I used an alternate email and I was able to reset my password. It brought up an account I registered back in 2010...I was not getting any e-mail for the password reset of the main e-mail I was using. I tried 5 times no e-mail so maybe I was not using the correct one.
So I know the password reset is pretty quick.
Yikes so now I have 3 accounts. Let me delete mpitogo2...

So I’m getting reports from the NYAS. The issues I was experiencing here that the rep told me was by design are being reported by others. This is from two sources.
Well the plot thickens. I'm disappointed the rep was not there for us to talk to. I for one would have been interested in hearing his take on them and ask questions on the design.
Oh for heaven’s sake they gave me two rights, the guys unpacked it and every thing. So the SDA effect was not happening like i remembered from hearing the demos. I didn’t want to say anything until i had more time.
They delivery guys unpakced the first one they said this is the “right” ok good, they brought in second and placed it. Then had me sign off on the delivey. let this be a lesson to new buyers inspect not only for damage but for Left and Right!

It's the "Legend L800 RC Brown" with RC meaning right channel. It should be made more obvious because someone pulling boxes out of the warehouse and tossing them on the delivery truck won't know the difference unless they're trained.

Why does it bother you so much that I (and others) are lookin for possible reasons for the L800’s to have had performance issues rather than accept your proclamation of them being six thousand dollar piles of horseshit?

No Skip, I am absolutely NOT looking to blame you. I am simply trying to figure out how a team of dedicated engineers led by a guy who was there from the beginning could not hear what you guys are describing and solve it before launching a six thousand dollar pair of speakers. Either collectively, they have hearing deficiencies or something else is going on.
I am looking at the latter because in my mind I find it hard to believe people who design speakers for a living would miss this and then try to pass it off as being acceptable.
