Can't believe there's only an hour of show left. I need more time!

Skip's room has more texture and depth to vocals than A LOT of other rooms at the show. I can "see" further into voices and that's the first thing I noticed about them.
The guy has come a long way form the crumb snatcher he was not too long ago
Mr.Skipworth definitely deserves the accolades he is getting, He has earned it in the hard work he has done to come this far and it shows. The best part was the people watching in his room. I did not hear one bad comment while in or outside the room shooting the snot with folk, they were all very impressed to say the least. He should be getting some good sales out of this as many were already to commit and plop down the frogskins.

So while at Axpona, @joecoulson and I were talking, among other things, music genres. Little did I know, that sneaky guy, he ordered a CD that he thought I would like. Got home today and it was sitting on the front porch!

Just finished an hour and a half listening session in the Scaena room. Truly a transformative experience. I was on cloud 9 the entire time. Absolutely incredible.

I heard both last year these have an intoxicating sweet spot. it really does need to be experienced for sure. The Carvers both years were in tiny rooms. The electronics and cables behind these are state of art for sure they also have those two subs that can almost knock you down it is an intense set up. I'm not taking anything away from the Carver line array but as it sets you are comparing a C8 to a C2 not quite fair. Put the Carvers on that system if may very well be different.
Those cables would cause more than a few heads at AK to explode.

I left at 4 on the way out I run into Mario with a Elac Phono Pre in his hands he won it in the Elac room so the last person I said goodbye to was Mario and he was grinning ear to ear with that Prize.

Those of you who are home from the show now, is music ruined for you, or were there enough crappy rooms there that you are still able to enjoy your current gearsets?
Me and Marvin won Parasound shirts, unfortunately they only had mediums left so they are sending ours to us.
