I do have one question just to satisfy my own curiosity. From DK's writeups, the primary and secondary windings are both around 4 mH when wired in parallel but Matt Polk recommended 10 to 14 with an ideal of 14. What am I missing or not understanding?

Hey I am just glad to have stumbled upon your group buy in time. I was originally looking through the archives and saw some of the original posts on the Avel Lindberg 1000VA audiophile grade transformers and I also saw the post where they had all dried up and were gone....... :-(
So I was pleasantly surprised when I found the current group buy!! Just imagine if I hadn't stumbled on it until a couple of months from now...... I say let it ride until we get the 30. We are so close and I too can wait.
