You guys are all wrong. I paid $225 for my 350 watt B&K amp and I could get it fully serviced and still be under the cost of an Emo. >:)

So, clearly B&K is the best bang for the buck.

If Emotiva has this effect on you, rock on.

    arld86nunm7f.jpg
The best way to predict the future is to invent it.

It is imperative that we recognize that an opinion is not a fact.
  • The conversion was going well then:
    F1nut:
“It's obvious that as time passes on more and more folks are coming to the same conclusion as those who knew from the start that emo wasn't all that. Shame they didn't listen to us, but some of the best lessons are learned the hard way.”

Then vmaxer proclaims beating his chest:
“Emotiva is in a different league, entry level at best. Yes, I have owned one and anything & everything I have had since beat it to death for music.”

Notice he has owned one so they all suck!

Then jermey God bless him tries to calm the waters:
“I guess we have different experiences.”

Then nooshinjohn thinks he is schooling the child:
    “Or better hearing...”

    Then vmaxer retorts:
    “right on dood”

This is when the conversation turned south.

Then heiney jumps in a few times and adds nothing to the proceedings.

How am I doing. Maybe YOU should re-read the thread.

this would be perfect... two guys arguing about a thread about arguing... yeah, no thanks.
I'm fine knowing the argument was already heated.... my interpretation is the best, most cost effective, and has a 5 year warranty.

I paid $80 for two pairs of used MIT's from @nooshinjohn I don't know if they improved or did anything to the tonality of the sound but they very obviously improved the stereophonic experience such as soundstage and imaging. I think @nbrowser and I are proof that you don't have to spend tons of money to get good sound.

Transform this thread into a cable debate, engage. @rednedtugent started it. ;)

Even Emotiva amps as good as they are, can be improved with quality cables.

Oh, Listen here mister. We got no way of understandin' this world. But we got as much sense of this bird flyin in the sky. Now there is a lot that bird don't know, but it don't change the fact that the world is happening to him all the same.
