Well, like you and others have said.. Peyton shouldn't be criticized for this game because I don't think it would have mattered who was under center for the Broncos. I feel bad that he's going to be faced with all those questions. Part of the deal, I guess.
Agreed, Indy and SF have shown really the only approach for beating Seattle, you need a mobile QB who can also get the ball down the field and you need some weapons on offense. Even then, you still have to actually DO it against that defense which is tough. Indy pulled it off in a game that really didn't matter in their home stadium and SF did it at home, otherwise they only way to beat Seattle is if you happen to catch them asleep at the wheel like Arizona did.

As much as it pains me to say it, I think Denver could play Seattle 10 more times and Seattle would win 9 of those comfortably, allowing for the one game where everything goes Denver's way. Peyton is good at figuring out a defense eventually, but you can't 'figure out' that defense you just need to have better athletes which Denver does not.

OK it's official Denver needs to change their name from the Broncos to the My Little Pony's along with their Logo it should be something like this

All kidding aside the Seahawks winning makes me really nervous seeing how the last time a pro team from Seattle won a championship (Super Sonics 1979 NBA) a couple months later I ended up in a wheelchair and the fact that I have to meet with the vascular surgeons tomorrow morning.

I Hope I'm wrong but I think I maybe screwed here.

They did, tony is just a "master" of irony, throwing a little your way. Speaking of SB. Did anyone see Russell Wilson interviewed on the Letterman show last night? A real gentleman and all around nice young, and I do mean YOUNG, man!

Saw it. Dude seems relaxed and laid back no matter what the situation is. I really believe him when he said the SB was "just another game".

I know we're all gushing over Russel Wilson, but one thing I will say is keep in mind it's easy to be a class act when you're winning and there's basically no pressure on you. Let's see him go through a slump and see people pile on him and see how he reacts. I have every reason to believe that he's the real deal, but we technically don't KNOW yet.

Is he gonna go out of his way to track down a Ray Lewis or check on a Richard Sherman after he gets BLASTED in a game to end his season? If I were a betting man I'd say yes and I don't want to come across as a nay-sayer, but we have to be careful when judging character. For example, nobody (myself included) really saw the Tiger Woods fiasco coming a few years back.

Were people careful in 'judging' the character of Richard Sherman? Nope. They read one page of the book and closed the cover even though there are LOTS of good chapters to read.

Since you want to make the comparison, Sherman has a long history of trash talking and taunting players (and even the occasional radio show host), Wilson does not. The fact is, people tend to be judged by the least common denominator of their actions and the fact is Sherman has plenty of material to choose from.

Maybe that's not fair, but that's the way it goes. Look at Tiger, all the good will he built up and charity stuff he did over the years vanished a day after the scandal hit the news feeds a few years back, and he's never recovered from that.

Comparing what Tiger did to the calculated mouth-running by Sherman is a bit of a stretch.

I didn't compare what they DID, obviously the two offenses are very different. But if it makes you feel better take Tiger and replace him with another example in that paragraph above, the statement still reads the same.

It really doesn't matter. Some people don't like him. Other people do. We love him up here, obviously. I just think when you look at his whole package, talking trash in this league is SUCH a small issue. He's a model citizen in every other way.

I'd prefer not to look at his package, but otherwise agree

Downtown on 4th Ave somewhere. 700,000+ lined that street for the parade.

High 20's, Low 30's.. The only thing that's raining is Skittles from Marshawn throwing them off the hood of the lead car. :-)

I saw that over 700K people were there, very cool to see that city finally get a championship and to see the people that much invested in their team.

They are now saying closer to a million and ZERO arrests. I was there, didn't go for the parade as I was at the Seattle Center for a seminar. The presenter let us loose early for lunch so we could catch some of it. WOW, just WOW!!!
