Doesn't matter to me either way, it's being played in NEW JERSEY! And, I'll be there!

Working (probably 16 hours), but still I'll be there.

Please don't judge Sherman by what he said, and has since apologized for repeatedly, when Erin Andrews put a microphone in his face moments after sending the Seahawks to the Superbowl. There are plenty of other interviews (today's Sportcenter FYI) where you can better see the quality of his character.

I've met him in person and my experience was he was gracious and polite. He was also very nice to my starstruck son.

Broncos! I just don't see the Seahawk's defense being able to keep up with Manning at this point, what that man does on the field is greatness.

Now, as far as everyone calling the Seahawks classless, and I assume a lot of that is the post game interview with the CB and QB. I'll address the QB. I would argue that it's the head coach's fault for a lot of his flack. It should be a requirement from the top of the team that you show up in a suit, and leave in a suit. There shouldn't be a choice, no hats unless they are dress hats. I'm fine with the headphones. I don't know why I haven't heard that much out of anybody. Get your players right, and the team wouldn't have all this extra bad press.

I hope the NFL learns it lesson about trying to help out disaster relief areas. Instead of a great game of best teams, now the weather will have just as much of a impact as a fumble or interception. Just too many domes and warm states available to have this game in an open stadium in winter! SMH!

You have to be referring to Kaepernick here and not Wilson. Very few in the game are as classy as Russell...

Wilson is one of the few young players that truly understands the societal importance of the position he is in. He is the next generation of the Peyton Manning style of classy sportsmanship.

My understanding is NY/NJ getting the Superbowl had to do with the new stadium, nothing to do with the hurricane.

Its just not the NFL, but several big events, NY/NJ has been begging for the Superbowl since 911 to help bring the millions of tourist dollars lost ever since. The Final 4 has been in New Orleans since Katrina, its all politics in the end. No one can understand why NY/NJ got the bid over warm weather states and those in the media won't address the leagues real reason for it.

It all comes down to who wins the battle between the Broncos o-line and the Seahawks d-line. Manning averages getting rid of the ball in 2.36 seconds. If the Seahawks can get to Manning by then the Lombardi trophy belongs to Seattle. If not, Manning becomes the first QB to win it for two different teams.

    GO BRONCOS!

ditto....manning is getting the ball out so quick , even if it's to avoid pressure, that he will have the D-backs runnin in all directions and tired out by the fourth

But, doesn't that hold true for almost every regular season game in November & December in places like Green Bay, Buffalo, Minnesota, etc.?

Green Bay, Buffalo, yes, Minnesota plays inside. The point being made is about the 2 top teams from all the regular season games should play in the best location to show case why they are there. If the wind is blowing 20-50 knots will we see the best Payton Manning? or like the game in Philly a few weeks back where you could not even see what was happening on the field for the first half. When was the last time you heard about alt plans being made to play the game on another day (Superbowl)?

According to what I was told during NFL training (I'm scheduled to work the game), even though alternate plans have been made, Super Bowl Sunday is considered a "national holiday" and barring catastrophic conditions that cause a shut down to mass transportation and all access is cut off completely, kickoff will be at approx. 6:30PM on Sunday, 2-2-14.

I saw a forecast this morning with snow and a high of 36 degrees. If those are the conditions then I think the defenses clearly have the advantage and I'll be changing my pick to Seattle since they have the better defense. This has nothing to do with Manning and his history in adverse conditions, I just think those conditions work better for Seattle.

One of the best games ever was played in the elements.

And since the majority of people attending the Superbowl are not even fans, let them freeze.

Yep, couldn't figure that one out either. I wouldn't pay that kind of coin for seats to freeze my arse off. That half-time show is going to be pretty frickin' cold for those dudes too.

The NFL in all it's great wisdom keeps finding ways to drive people away. Next year there's talk of doing away with the extra point after a TD. Stop **** with the game and stop injecting politics into it....just pisses people off.

I think this game will be closer than many think. Cold weather play opens up Payton for interceptions and offense to fumbles from a hard hitting defense on Seattle's side. Mind you, that also works the other way too and I think Wilson will be more apt to fumble than Manning. Least turnovers wins this game.
