Looks like the weather is going to come down to how bad the wind is. It looks like the really bad weather isn't going to materialize, but if the wind is really bad I don't give the Broncos much of a chance as it's pretty clear that Peyton doesn't have a really strong arm at this point. Under normal conditions you can get away with that but the wind really amplifies any problems in ball flight. Wilson has a much stronger arm and should be able to cope with bad wind a lot better, so advantage Seattle if the wind is bad on Sunday.

One of the few thing that Sherman has said that I agree with is that Manning tends to throw ducks at times, and you simply can't get away with that on downfield throws in the wind.

Sure will be an interesting game....and the tactics involved. Denvers offense relies heavily on Peyton passing the ball, they have little running game to speak of. Shut Peyton down, Seattle wins.

Denvers defense will have to curb a mobile QB and Lynch, but Wilson's inexperience may come back to haunt them in the end.

Control of the clock guys, the team who can sustain long clock eating drives and not turn the ball over will win. Easier said than done, but if Denver can copy the game they played against the Pats, they'll win.

Whoever scores first will win....or so previous trends tend to favor.

I'd like it to be close but with Peyton getting another ring - I really admire the guy - more class than all the Shehawks put together including "****" Carroll.

As long as we all win our respective office pools it will be good. It will also be good to see Peyton wrap up his great season with another W, and send the Sherm a packin'

I know what you mean. As much as I love football/sports in general...on super bowl Sunday, I usually leave the TV off until a couple hours before the game.

Y'all can keep hating. That's fine. Me? I'm sick and tired of hearing about Peyton this, and legacy that. My city wants a damn championship. ONE. You should have experienced what it's been like around here for the last two weeks. :-)

Well I hope you're not watching ESPN this morning then, because they just ran a 15 minute special on Peyton Manning. I'm generally not a fan of those shows where they gush all over a player (get it a lot with Tiger as well), but the piece they just ran really puts things into perspective and makes it hard not to root for the guy

Also, I don't think people are talking enough about the impact that Percy Harvin can have in this game, having somebody like that in the slot can really cause problems for Denver, I think he could be the difference today...

Danny I agree its really hard not to root for Peyton he is the epitome of what standards of all professional athletes should follow, this game could go either way and most really won't be surprised.

The reason I got the 'Hawks on my radar as I talked them up before preseason even started even wagered on September 1st they would reach the Bowl.

Harvin had every intention of coming out and making a difference and came out on fire against the Saints, unfortunately Saints really keyed on him hard to take him out, and he has another chance.

I just hope the game is clean and everyone puts their best foot forward including the refs.

I predict this will be the top 3 watched Bowls if not #1.

You do know you just put the kiss of death on any chance the Shehawks had by wishing evil upon others, don't you?

Peyton and the Broncos, 31-17 in a game that is not even that close.

Is it just me or is the Fox coverage of the "Red Carpet" for celebrities coming into the game just nauseating. The last thing I want to see is the Oscar-like procession of self-important nitwits arriving for the game. I would rather they show season highlights from all teams, building up to the game than listen to game predictions from some actor/actress that wouldn't know what a football looks like to begin with....

    End of rant...

It was an interesting statistic I read that over all the Superbowls the team that scored first has won more games.

    But not every time....
