    Contacted the seller and he sent me a picture of the bottom of one speaker. I has a rather long crack in the veneer. It'll be an issue for me.a6he65aquxbk.jpg

    @verb , congrats on the SDA 1C's! They do look mint. The SDA 1C was my first Polk speaker, I bought brand new in September 1987 (Walnut). I still have them. Completely stock. One of the first batch in the new cabinet design.

    They are a great speaker for that size room too. Enjoy!

    I marked the carpet with duct tape so I could get the spacing right. All I can say is wow! The soundstage goes all the way to the adjacent walls and beyond! Imaging is blowing me away too! I'm hearing a lot of vertical and fore/aft depth never experienced before.

    My buddy, who had his kids pick em up for me (long story, couple pages prior on this thread), sat in my listening chair for a bit. He asked me - is this a 2-channel setup? :sunglasses:

    And, as Karma should, he was surprised when I gave him my set of 2B's!
    I just swapped out the tweets, everything else bone stock.

    I hope to see him on CP soon. Another 2B upgrade path!
