    So this is the 3rd set of SRS 2.3's I have seen for sale in the last month in the Portland area. I have yet to hear a set and am wondering how these would compare to my 1C's. Anyone here have a set they'd be willing to share some insight?

    I've noticed California is purging Polk Audio Big Boys for years.

    Did Polk sell a lot of the big boys in Cal. in the 70's?
    Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

    Must have, here's a set of 2.3tls, Monterey again. Silly price. The ones in Kansas on Ebay went for $660, but not even I could justify a 3k round trip to go get them.

    I remember auditioning the big boys in our stereo, TV and record store when I was young. YOUNG!

    So I guess I missed it by 1/10 of my age. :'(

    I do remember seeing 86 on some mid-woofers of my SRS2's or CRS's now that I think about that.
    Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

    I’m picking up the $660 2.3tls from Kansas tomorrow. I’m in Denver, so a 9 hour round trip, but worth every second. I think I benefited from them being too far for most people to go.
