If I am right which I am pretty sure I am than how about these.
Company and Model please.
Did anyone guess Design Acoustics D12, yet? -
Yep, from my pal Bruce Thigpen.
A whole lotta good sound below too, wish this company was still in business.
I'm gonna say Hales Transcendence 8. -
T-Man, you are correct. Lob one up for us to swing at.Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.

A very 'Euro' finish, the top tweeters I haven't seen like that.
Hmmm.Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service. -
Gettin' warmer. That's from England, but I have seen them in the US.
Aw, fudge. I just discovered these things are no longer distributed here. Unfair playing field. I'll just go sit in the penalty box. -
That doesn't matter, give the crew a few.Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.

Titanium Man, Those speakers are made by Neat Acoustics. I had to locate the model on there website so that was cheating but they are Ultimatum MF9's.
I heard a pair of there bookies with the upward firing tweeters and they sounded pretty darn good. -
How about these dipoles?
-
Titanium Man, Those speakers are made by Neat Acoustics...
Interesting. Strictly FYI, here's a pair I have; I think these were a product of Sloppy Acoustics. Not asking anyone to ID this fine specimen. -

That's remarkable...
:-)
On topic - I cannot identify any of the three or so "real" loudspeaker speaker systems currently in play in this thread :-( -
How about these dipoles?
Is this a Dipole from the Paradigm Monitor series?
How about this:
-
Yes Sir it is a Paradigm Monitor Series. Good Job,

The white midrange driver gives them away every time. -
The Drivers look like Hawthorne's and the horn actually looks like a ESS Heil tweeter.

I know that is where I am stuck. It looked like some variant of a Hawthorne, but I haven't been able to find anything that matches it!

Those are in fact Hawthorne Audio's new Ranier speaker. The top and bottom drivers are the Hawthorne Augies and the tweeter is a custom version of the ESS Heil as you guessed. The tweeter is bad ****. -
does that mean we can do another one now?
Here's an odd one... this is a loudspeaker system made and sold by a major hifi manufacturer of its time (1960s). It is quite large (nearly as big as an Altec Valencia. It was named for a (still) well known New England venue... but it is not a product of any of the famed New England hifi companies. -

You are correct, sir! Most of the speakers from Neat sound pretty good. -

They look kinda like a Bozak or Stephens I saw once. I think I am wrong on that though. -

You are correct that you are wrong. ;-)
I will agree that they're quite generic looking - I'd never seen a pair of those myself until I found them at... well... my favorite local vintage hifi emporium.
Two more photos attached - that black cylinder visible in the interior shot turned out to be the core of a choke from the XO :-p -
Those are a little too vintage for me!--Gary--
