The way it stands, Jim's doing burgers and some soft drinks... Gracias, Jim...
It's BYOB, and if your choice is soda, bring your soda of choice.
Anyone who wants to bring food, bring it... never seen leftovers at a gathering. Polkies know how to eat. Need Proof? Just look at the past group shots...
More importantly... an equipment list would be a good idea... Nothing like lugging gear a couple hundred miles (or even five miles if it's big enough) only to find out it's duplicate stuff.
Mon 10's have been mentioned at least twice... maybe by scottfox both times.
wallstreet will LS90 us... he's done it before...
Sunfire's been mentioned by txcoastal... (LS90's love 'em).
I have Mon 7A's on down, Klipsch Hereseys, Orig Large Advents, 901's (there are other speakers, but mostly Polkies Polk).... amps, misc. electronics. But unless there's a need, and group interest... they ain't coming.
Jim,
If you want to tabulate, have at it. If you want me to do it, just say the word...More later,
Tour...

Not sure if they have them down there, but Starpower might be worth checking out. Its more HT, but they carry Tannoy and Dali among others. You might also check out one of the Modia Home Theater stores in the area.
Just to add, you could also take 35W if you wanted to go to stores in Ft Worth. You can take it up to Hwy 380 and take that East all the way to North Frisco. Probably wouldn't be much different time-wise.
do you know anything about Krystal Clear Audio/Video? I see they carry Totem and have been really wanting to audition some totem speakers.Main 2ch -

Alright guys, it's the week-of! Here's a pic with my information so I don't have to deal with an assload of PMs but can still remove it later:
I'll have tables for equipment and extra chairs. I also managed to snag some RT5s to add to my collection of speakers  My LSi's XO mods sadly are still not broken-in, as I've been hella busy with work and school. I'm free on Friday if you guys wanna do the Usher thing. There's also a Starpower right by me. There's also a Bang and Olufsen store about 7 miles south of me.
Just to clarify for anyone joining late who doesn't wanna go through pages of posts, I'll have some sodas and burgers, but it's BYOB. Feel free to bring any friends you want along with you. You can bring your swimsuit if you'd like. Donations aren't required but are always appreciated. If you wanna your own snack food, by all means go for it. I'll have some chips and dip.
And on a side note, yesterday I installed some RC80i speakers in the ceiling of one of my customer's patios and DAMN those things thump! She and I were both pleasantly surprised. It was a nightmare of an install, but worthwhile in the end.
Can't wait to see you guys! Feel free to call or text me at any time if you have any questions. I generally don't answer phonecalls from numbers I don't recognize, so leave a voicemail if I decline or miss your call.

Jim- is there a list of products people are bringing? As I have said, I have original Monitor 10's w/Peerless tweeter & Mon 5Jr+, but don't want to bring them if others are already planning to bring them. I also have a WD TV & small USB2 drive I can bring loaded with Music, movies & demos. Also a food list would be nice. I can make a pasta salad, but again want to avoid duplication. THX!
-
Okay, I just read the whole post, and this is what I came up with. Some of you guys mentioned something in an earlier post, but didn't include it in a later post. I'm including everything that was mentioned, and I suppose it's up to you guys to confirm/disconfirm what you're bringing.
Gadabout - Easy Pi speakers and TVC
scottfox - Original monitor 10s, 5jr+, HSU 2.3 Subwoofer?, WD TV
Tour2ma - Original Monitor 7s, vintage amps
coolsax - HRT Music Streamer II, ascend Sierra-1s, Jamo C401s, Music Hall A15.2, Audio Technica AD700 headphones
txcoastal1 - Sunfire amp, multiple pars of ICs, SACDs, Pioneer DV-79avi
wallstreet - LS90s
quadzilla - PAS-3 tube preamp, table, phono stage, CRS+
marvda1 - onix ref 1's and stands, virtue audio m901 integrated amp, virtue audio piano cdp, usher r1.5 amp, belles 21a preamp, various cables, vanguard transport, ack dack battery powered dac
From what I can tell, nothing in the equipment list is a duplicate. Do a few of you guys have a sweet subwoofer (or two) you'd like to bring?
As far as food goes, I plan on doing burgers, but you guys can bring whatever else if you want. Here's what I've dug out of the thread so far:
txcoasta1 - pico-de-gallo and chips for a spicy brew snack
DSkip (if he comes) - I'll bring a couple bags of chips and OFC my own drinks, wife's Pizza Dip
That seems to be all I can find for food.- Computer Rig -
