Any of you Polkies from Texas or the surrounding states interested in a Polkfest? I live in Dallas and it seems like I live in the only region of the country that isn't debating one. Who's down?

And my bad at improperly using the term Polkfest. I didn't know it was an official term for the real meeting. I just thought it was what you called it when CP members meet up and listen to gear together.

Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

    Organize something guys.

There will be an LSiM open house, in the not too distant future (dates tbd), and Lone Star Audio Fest is right around the corner too.... You can use the term, we invented it. ;)

Theres a guy selling that exact same Sunfire up here. I'm hoping nobody will get it in the next month or so and I can snatch it from him. I've got money tied up in my Yukon and 2-ch system otherwise I'd start talking to him now.

Not sure yet. Is anyone getting LSiMs? If so, I'd like to coordinate this to be a few weeks after their release so they're nice and broken in and can be compared to the regular LSi.

On another note, would any of you guys who live in Dallas be interested in grabbing some brewskis sometime so that we're not all foreign faces when we actually do our mini Polkfest? I live around the North Dallas Tollway and the GWB Turnpike

When I go out, I typically go to the bars in Addison. Uptown is just a little too... meh... for me. I like to go to Pete's Piano Bar, Houlihan's, Sherlock's, Vernon's, Logan's, Flying Saucer... really all of those bars along Beltline. I'm up for whatever wherever though!

Let's just do a meet somewhere, doesn't have to be formal. We can get some subs and suds, listen to some tunes, check out some gear, it's easy. Lonestar will come, we can all get together then too assuming I can get Al to actually commit soon. Lastly, there will be an open house LSiM demo HERE, we can rock that too.

Someone pick a friggin' Saturday, and someone host it, well show up, eat, drink, listen and be merry!

Not gonna lie. Never got into the bar/club scene. My friend loves the nightlife in Addison. Then again, he's also got his name on a plaque for being some type of "super customer" at the Fox and Hound in Bedford. I always stayed away because it was just too damn expensive.

I might have to give him a call and see if he is making any trips out there in the near future. It'd give me a little more reason to make the trip from Ft. Worth if I can catch a ride with him.

My name is on the plaque of one in Colorado :)
