I can't wait to hear your car. Now that I'm not driving all the time, my focus has switched from car audio to home audio, but I do miss having a good system already. I just sold off everything but my subs and their amps and reinstalled bose in my truck for now. It sounds lame, but ya do what ya gotta do to make ends meet sometimes.

I'm interested. I can bring Original monitor 10s, or 5jr+, maybe HSU 2.3 Subwoofer. Can certainly bring music & the most important item to have at a GTG- BEER! Can we get a final date & location?

The tentative plan is my house (Addison, TX), sometime the weekend of April 15-17.

I'd be fine with another venue of sorts, if someone has a really good listening space for us to hang out and listen in.

April 15 - 17 sounds good to me.

Jim, maybe we could meet up and get some drinks before that time. We could also run to Usher Audio manufacturing place and check out its new line with the diamond tweets.

I'm interested and April 16 may work for me. I should know for sure around mid-March.

I can tote old Monitor series models up to 7's, a couple vintage amps and misc. other electronic goodies as needed.
    More later,
    Tour...

My initial suggestions as far as what anyone might want to bring:

    - Your favorite CDs and/or DVDs (and SACDs if you have any)
    - Any cables or interconnects you want to try (especially if you have some nice ones!)
    - Any speakers you'd like to compare. I'd LOVE it if someone had some LSi9s they could tote along since I'm debating buying a set. I've got LSi7s, 25s, FXs, the C, and a PSW1000, and will hopefully have sold my RTi A3s by then.
    - I just picked up a Pioneer Elite SC-37, so if anyone wants to bring an amp to hook up to it, or another receiver to compare it with, I'm down for that. (we can also swap in my crappy Yamaha for good laughs )
    - I've got a pool, so bring your swimsuit if you want
    - Food and drinks are always welcome (beer is more welcome than anything in the world )
    - If anyone has a Bluray player and some Blurays, that'd be fun to try out. I've never watched one before...

If anyone else has any ideas or suggestions, I'm totally game. My zipcode is 75248 for any who need to look up hotels. My suggested zip for searching hotels is 75001. It belongs to the very tiny City of Addison, which I live right next to. Since the area of that zip is a lot smaller, it will give you a better pinpoint on nearby hotels than 75248.

There is a decent motel 6 right there on Beltline down the street from Nate's Seafood, same parking lot as Denny's. I could not remember the exact area.

Let me see if I could retrieve a pair of LSI 9s. I would bring B&W 803D's, but does not look like it is going to happen. Let me see if I could bring some Classe amps.

Jim, I am in OKC right now, we should get a drink next week sometimes. Gosh, this sounds like a date... I will bring my fiancee... as my designated driver... hahahahah...

mmmm Nate's... I haven't been there in years! Gimme a ring or shoot me a text when you're back in civilization and we'll grab some brewskis.

If you can get some 9s that would be epic. If not, that's okay. There's gotta be at least one CP member in/around DFW with some 9s.

Oh and if any of you are mildly interested in DIY, Usher has drivers available from Parts Express.

I was thinking all day Saturday, April 16th. That way you don't have to worry about being early or late. If you're in town on Friday, let's go out for some burgers and brews. I know a kickass spot down off Maple by Love Field, rated one of the best in D Magazine. If they're too packed, then there's another great Mexican restaurant right down Maple from it that's a little bigger so there's always room.

And with all of the luck in my sale so far, I might still have my RTi A3s to throw into our listening sessions.

THe LS90's are rated at 90db from 1 watt... shouldn't be too tough to drive them.
