    unplugged all the audio, dont need a surge or a quick blip in the power blowing up any transformers. tv's are hooked up with sound thru the tv speakers. this one looks like it could get bad. last night was just fun, the 4 wheeler thoroughly enjoyed doing donuts down the street.

    The roads are fun now. Not too slippery that you can't go anywhere, but slick enough that my little two wheel drive ranger can be played with like a go cart. I still like to blow donuts and kick it out sideways.

    It's just started to snow in Maine? We're expecting a bit more than we've had in recent weeks, perhaps 10-15"...not really a record for up here. But we haven't had anything close to that this winter. Just finished grading papers. I may go out and get something for dinner tomorrow, just in case it actually is 15" or more? I have my doubts, though.

    Guess we are not the only ones suffering through this weather.
    Saw 3 deer in the yard.
    They basically live in my yard (3 does) and sleep on my septic tank (guess its warmer there than the ground).
    I put out plenty of corn after I snapped this photo (about 20 minutes ago).
    Taken from my backdoor.
    That house is my nearest neighboor (Yeah, I turn it up anytime I want :biggrin:).

    Round 2 has started here. The neighbors across the street are making too much noise pulling their kids around on a sled. That just gave me a good reason to crank it up here.

    On a dark note, we are at 6" at my office right now with storm #1 still rollin through. Can't wait to shovel when i get home, before i go to bed, before i leave tomorrow morning, and when i return home again. :mad:

    Normal snow here is 1"-3", Heavy (as in shuts lots of stuff down) is 5"-6".

    Right now they are predicting 18"-24" by tomorrow. (not to mention 30mph constant winds with 50mph gusts)

    Should be quite the ride. I am camped out at home for the duration. Just hope power stays on. (cuz that would suck)

    Getting crappy here again. Shutting phones down at 5, but i'm about to head out of here after i get off this STUPID CALL.

    Oh yeah... we have an "orange alert" which basically means stay off the road, morons. Yet... they aren't closing this building. Just shutting down the phones, which means customer service has to go home, but we..... don't?

    We actually had snow here for about an hour yesterday, and the temp dropped to 35---I thought it would last, but no such luck. We typically get 1 or 2 snowfalls that stick, but it's like 4" and is gone in 2 hours.

    I need to call mom & dad this evening in STL, I have a feeling they are getting hammered.

    Yeah baby, it's ramping up here in Northern IL. Our weather people are beside themeselves with giddiness..........just doesn't seem right for them to be so happy and flambouyant when we are scheduled to get so much snow.

    high winds and snow, the blizzard or rather Wintergeddon is starting.

    I will be on a steady diet of glowing tubes tonight and tomorrow, let the snow cover my front door and windows........I don't care!
