Main system warmed up and blasting Snowblind by Black Sabbath! I just came back from Sycamore and it's almost a complete white-out, fortunately the truck is up high enough that I could see above the ground blizzard white-out conditions. It's going to be a nasty one.

It's 4PM CST here and normally we work 8-5, but we are dismissing early and all indications are we will be closed tomorrow due to the weather. I work for locally owned Real Estate Title Insurance Company and if we get the predicted 18-24" snow there will be no reason to come in tomorrow.

I have business colleagues who are scrambling trying to get out O'Hare, one to ATL and one to Austin. Another one in Plano trying to come home to San Diego. What a mess. Meetings are being cancelled for the next 2 days. Race to hit hometown before all hell broke loose.
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

Our office in DFW metro was closed today and I expect our office in Schaumburg IL will be closed tomorrow. That means Thursday will be the day from hell, but I'm enjoying the tunes until then.

Ben - Snowblind just seemed appropriate after driving through a virtual white-out. You won't find any illegal drugs here, just a large bottle of Southern Comfort that will be calling my name later.

I know - just giving you blizzard lizards a hard time!

I was stuck in DC last Feb when that blizzard shut down everything.

We were cruising the underground in Crystal City looking for places that were open to get something to eat.

Kinda fun for a day or two - glad I didn't live there and have to keep shoveling snow as each storm dumped a fresh batch.

It's ok though - there is karmic balance - we have fires and earthquakes...

Hopefully DangerBoy's visits to hang out aren't like waking up to Brett22 standing at the foot of your bed with a pink, rotating **** and a smile on his face. If I was a lesser man, I would have been horrified but I made sure my wife was alive and went back to sleep. Other than that, he's a wonderful guest.
