    OUCH!!!

    Keiko,

    In a PM you asked:

    Dude

I wasn't being rude, but you simply don't know what you don't know.

Jinjuju has been a pita to CP ever since he showed up here. Just search through his history/prior posts and you'll get a real clear picture of the troll.

    K

Outside of the threads where I have had interactions with him (so far positive ones) I went through a few other threads and in my opinion, found that there is a clear pattern of group think and a pattern of attacks against him regardless of subject matter or validity.

Now I see it starting with newrival (accusing him and jinjuku being one and the same).

Just an observation of an relatively new person here.

Posting this sure shows an incredible lack of judgement!

We can go back to your original post where you were talking about packing stuff. I just brought everything around to it's logical conclusion.

Then you need to improve your reading comprehension skills. As I said...that thread had several who posted their thoughts on hi-fi vs pro (as well as a few who defended the use of pro gear in SOME limited situations).

Since you aren't interested in looking...here is a sampling of thoughts and ovservations....no editing...no bashing of anyone...no BS...just cut and pasted from that thread.

Thanks for putting together for me. A couple of those re helpful. I had a hard time sticking with it after the first 2 pages of nonsense. Although I assure you my reading comprehension skills are just fine, thank you. Not sure how comprehension applies when one doesn't read something... Anyways, I guess that explains some of it.

So I just called my friend Rick, and it turns out he has a couple pro amps laing around that he uses for testing his drivers. I'm going to take H9's advice and try em out and see what I think. Although I may not post the results if I think they sound better than the Carver's I've been experimenting with. I'd probably wake up to someone from here breathing through gritted teeth with a knife raised above my chest.

I may just pick them up tonight. Rick doesn't hold much stock in the amps either, but he doesn't like anything SS. But I'll find out soon enough. I'll also post model #'s because they may be crappy. Who knows.

No, I was talking about your obvious lack of personal hygiene. How you could make the jump from your hygiene issues to calling me a derogatory slang term for a **** person is a bit beyond me. You do realize that we have **** forum members here, right? I'm sure that more than one of them would take great exception to your use of that term, had they seen it. In retrospect, I should have reported you for that one.

Anyway, you cannot say that I didn't offer to help you improve yourself.

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

Be sure to give them a good audition, as in a couple months of serious listening. I just now am happy with my tube selections, after about 9 months of rolling, listening, rolling, listening, listening again and again and again. It takes me about 6 months to evaluate a new/different piece of gear. Many times first impressions change after spending time with the gear.

None of this "I listened over the weekend for a couple hours and, blah, blah, blah."

There is a definite method to auditioning a new/different piece of gear. You should have seen what I went through comparing a modded power supply vs. std. power supply for the SQ Box.

I missed that, but let's go with it not being ok. We'll whack BDT's pee pee at the next PF.

Nothing of the sort. I started a thread and jinjuku wished to divert it elsewhere. False. I do my communicating out in the open.

Had I taken a conversation that STARTED in private and posted it, yes, I see that as a breach of etiquette......different situation.

Also, I have different feelings about posting PM's....and this is from past experience....where an individual(s) sent me unsolicited PM's, vile in nature, and played innocent and pure in public. You betcha, I'll post that in a skinny minute.
