I don't need kids to understand anything. As I said before I've got quite a tight knit family and look after my nieces and nephews all the time. I'm actually asked to look after my brothers kids most often because I'm so good with children. I feel that there isn't a whole lot to life without children and my soon to be wife and I will definatly be having kids in couple years. She and I both realize how robbed children have become lately of their childhood and innocence. It's something we both feel should be protected in children. I want my kids to be able to go outside and play with their friends and not have to worry if their friends scrape a knee or something and get sued by all the sue happy lefy **** we have in this country. I suppose you support that too? I feel that if a child is raised right...with the right morals and values that he or she can be oblivious to the immorality of the outside world. If you can't aknowledge the problems facing the youth of this country than you've got to be ignorant.

All your going to do is try to defend the indefensible, which is what you've done this entire thread. Nobody told you what to do, say, or think. In case you were unaware out nation has had ideological differences that really started taking heed in the Late 1800's to early 1900's as far as a clear 'Liberal vs. Conservatve' ideologies was concerned. What was 'Liberal' back then is considered 'Ultra-Conservative' today. We have most definately progressed as a nation and It's not a bad thing in some cases. In this day in age it means that I support people like George W. Bush. Get it yet?

I happen to be a Conservative. If you don't know what that means I'll explain it to you. For the most part it means that I favor traditional views and values. I believe in a limited government. I believe in the Constitution as it was written and what it stands for. I believe in individual choice. I believe in private industry (anotherwords...companies like Disney).

I really could care less about Disney's existence or non-existence persay, but I think their existence should be determined by people like you and me who choose their ultimate success or failure by either buying their product or not buying their product....and it IS!

When I originally wrote this thread...I was inferring that I think that Disney has gone too far with their wishy washy Liberal **** and I personally made a choice to stop supporting the company. I'm not lobbying congress or trying to pass a law to bring the company down. Thats something Liberals do (i.e Tobacco & Fast Food Lawsuits, ect).

See, I actually have morals and positions...they guide me in determining how I will come down on issues and even in how I will choose to spend my money.

As far as schools are concerned.

I think an education is the most quintessential device for the future of our nation. I also know for a fact that many schools are corrupt by greed and low standards. I think that students should be taught the basics and nothing more. Leave parenting to parents and teaching to teachers. Telling my child how to put a condom on at 13 (and yes, I was in school when they were starting to do this ****) isn't something that is essential for their survival in the real world.

Teach my kids real history...not Revisionist history about how much some Liberal ideolouge thinks America sucks and how we should feel guilty for even being alive. Teach my kids math. Teach them how to write check instead of how to undermine your parents because you're an 'individual' and they just don't understand you.

The Public education system needs reforming, and if you don't think it does....I hate to tell you, but you're in the minority. more than half of this country is on board with this. Maybe you need to come out of your shell and stop watching movies for awhile and pay attention to the news. I'm obviously 100 times more educated on all of this stuff than ANY of you on this thread have proved to me. I'm only 23 years old. Besides having a degree in business and a minor is political science I guess I don't know what I'm talking about....?


As far as Trey, I don't care if he's 14. As I said before if he wants to have conversations with adults he better be able to hold his own. I obviously can't speak for him, nor expect him to defend me or my personal comments to you guys...but I at least have a general respect for him and it seemed to be mutual at the time.

As far as the original post it was about the Disney funded anti-military film in a time when our troops need our support...then it was degenerated into Disney's social/political affect on children as inquired by Trey since I said that Finding Nemo has lots of touchy feely **** and projects a lopsided view of life in a multi-faceted society...that is all.
