Light came in and like everything else in this house, you can’t just do the actual work without taking one or more steps back….

Discovered that captain halfass had hung a ceiling fan (that I replaced w a regular fixture when we moved in) in a standard electrical box….




But upon looking I found where it used to have a proper ceiling fan box….. so confused why he would do that, but I’ve stopped trying to understand him at this point.







So after buying and installing a correct box, was able to install the light/fan combo….












Room is 90% together. Still need to do some cable routing and get/build an end table/ coffee table, but those are minor details.

May play with measuring the room for treatments at some point but this is quite good.







Already had a hour listening session with my youngest, and storm approves as well!





Also was given an old GE A53 radio from a relative. Needs a total refurb inside and some work outside, but fits in here quite well.

When Jay was here the other day we reminisced about Joe (hearingimpared) and his "The Clamp"....and I dug up the pics I photoshopped that cracked Joe up.
