If I can sell my two pieces of equipment I will have a check in the mail the next day should you still have them. I don't know if I could have a pair of LSi15's sitting in the house without listening to them. Damn

    Greg,
the 15 is so sweet sounding driven with the Rotel...I bet you are going to be very pleased with this pair. I am sure Eulogytool don't mind holding this pair for you, till you sell your gears.
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

Don't really wish to hold Eulogytool to that scenario. Can't wait to hear these in my theater room with the Rotel...One day...

How does these NON AUTHORIZED get there products???
Does anyone know?I don't but I can guess.
I don't like the Idea that a company will take off the factory serial number and replace it with another. As Atcvemon just stated,he couldn't get a new driver for his Lsi9's.That sucks. You know I'm all for saving a buck or 3 but not at the risk of buying fom a NON AUTHORIZED dealer......how are they considered dealers???I don't get that at all.

Now this pair here is a killer deal.polk isn't going to support them as they are not warranty. Why???explore this topic further.
But to buy them at risk just might be worth it as long as they are in good working order.I will say this with alot of experience to back it up.......If a speaker works out of the box, then you have about a 98% chance it will last the test of time.Speaker failure does happen, but it's rare.Gear fails alot more, but the same rule applies.
Now the question is,for all the money thats going to be saved here,is the speakers worth buying???Well If I didn't already own them,I would consider it....and thats if I needed a great deal like this one to get into them.

The non auth dealers buy from auth dealers, they sell the product online, any warranty issues arise, the customer sends the items back to the said online E-tailer and they send off to the authorized company they bought the items from in the first place.. they are able to get drivers and what ever fixed because they are actually a auth dealer, Say sound distributers bought POLK from circuit city, they would sell to you, anything needs fixed you would send it back to joe smoe online dealer and they would send it to Circuit city, (circuit city used for example only) I am sure they buy from joe smoe small store that sells polks or know someone who has a store and is authorized to purchase polk and other name brands becauase of the business they own,

    Hi Guys,
Bought these and the guy said he sent them out last week monday. Speakers are still not here on this week tuesday. Tried to E-mail him to get the shipping number, but no reply yet. Is it time to start worrying? What do you do in this situation?:(

When was your last contact? Where are they being shipped to? Just asking, because 1 week isn't out of line. I shipped some Mission speakers to another member last Tuesday, TX to MD, they are scheduled to arrived today.

Don't forget the holiday weekend either. I wouldn't go into full panic mode JUST yet. Keep us posted though.

    Cheers,
    Russ

He *bought* a pair here., if this ID is his.

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2325433194

He bid Sunday evening, so he is *alive* and online, at least as of the time of bid.

Try emailing him THROUGH ebay, ie, clicking on his name, and using their form. That is IF this is the same person, I'm willing to bet it is.

    Cheers,

    Janusch,

I e-mailed him on tuesday to see if they were still avalilable and I received an e-mail reply the next day that stated they were sold. Again as stated above they may take more than a week but since you can't find any trace of a scan..I dunno

I know that he is alive and kicking, but when I hear that he tossed the reciept into the garbage and then when I ask for the tracking number - he then re-request my zip code. And finially when I check out the tracking numbers I did get - Fed Ex states that they were never scanned into their system (or never picked up) and he will be gone until next week. This does not set well with me. He has not checked into this as of yet. I seem to be the only one trying to locate these speakers.

I have Fed Ex checking a drop off location to see if they have a reciept. I am getting Very scared that I got ripped off.

He has replied to all my email - but what truth do I believe.

Can't FedEx search on his and your names to see if anything is "in the mail"? They enter all this info at drop off when the tracking number is generated.

Fed Ex has search every possible way to search for these speakers. No such records exists, Fed Ex states that they were never entered into their system, i.e. they never picked up the speakers. A Manager is going to check a Fed Ex drop off location to see if they can find any information. I hope that this is just a hitch in the process. I guess at this point I have to wait for him to get back home, next week. He does reply to me via email.

    Janusch,
I had experienced something similar with UPS, the tracking number only showed that billing information has been received, but no details. I lost sleep over it, thinking that the package never got picked up (it was a $2k purchase, so of course I was in panicky mode) and UPS told me they can't find any details behind that tracking number. Lo and behold, the package arrived a couple days later with no glitch. The funny part is, once it got delivered, suddenly all the details came through on the system. So, it could be that your speaker fell through the same black hole that mine was. Good luck and I hope everything get sorted out.
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

    polkatese,
How long did it take for your shipment to come out of the black hole and to your house? We are now looking at almost two weeks. Was it longer then that?
    Thanks Dave

    Dave,
no, it was more like a week and half, and it came from Minnesota to SoCal. I didn't realise yours have been pushing two weeks....hmm, the other way you can try is to check with fedex if they can trace the tracking number series, and see if it came from the general vicinity of Pensacola area. What kind of information did you get when you typed in the number on fedex tracking page?

    polkatese,

Fed Ex has no information on these tracking number. They generate tracking number in bunches then release them after the fact. I talk with them today and they were suppose to contact a drop off location and get back with me. Without a purchase order to verify that the speakers where dropped off, they can not do a thing. All tracking number have to be scanned in, before any information is abtained. They also search on names and zips - no such luck there either.

    Thanks
