That should be "Chronicles". Tell me what you think after hearing it on the SDA's. I'm telling you man, there were details I had NEVER heard before. I've listened to this disc on many a rig, including several "High- End". I use it for auditioning, because of it's diversity. There are several tracks that the recording isn't up to today's standards and then there are tracks that were mastered superbly. It's a great disc for audtioning speakers as well as sources,amps,etc....

His rendition of "Little Wing" is beautiful.

"Yes", pick your favorite, they all blew me away.

Put in B. B. King's Live at the Regal last night for the very first time with my SDA 1Cs. BY FAR the widest soundstage of any disc I've played. The horns were 15' left of the speaker and the guitar 15' right. Had to turn my head 45° just to get a feel for where it seemed the music was coming from. Unlike anything else I've experienced with the SDAs. Made a GREAT recording even better!

    Journey - Trial By Fire - 1996

Their last CD with the original members and possibly their best. I didn't know it existed until I stumbled across it at a thrift store.

Based on the earlier recommendation, I bought the Larry Carlton "Sapphire Blue" CD. Track 8 will put you in the studio. Wasn't he on Steely Dan's "Two Against Nature"?
