As a former substantial citizen myself (and, truth be told, always teetering on the brink), I'm not proud to admit this -- but, when I saw this on Flickr, I chuckled and thought to myself, "aww, wookit the fat widdle pwane!"

It's a shame to have done that to a nice old Benz.

Come to think of it, this reminds me of a cartoon I remember seeing (many) decades ago
in Road & Track.
Showed two people looking at a lovely Bugatti Royale in a museum. One says to the other:
Imagine spoiling a lovely old car like that with those grotty modern mag wheels.
Since not all on this forum are dedicated linguists (or cunning linguists, as the case might be) -- I should probably mention that grotty was/is the British progenitor of the Valley Gurlz' grodie (to the max).
Not sure how it got from Old Blighty to the Valley, though.

Lived in FL for 30 years.
Loved the black grouper, red snapper and mangrove snapper. Too of the line deep fried fish.
Only deep fried fish better than black grouper are trigger fish.
If you can ever find them try it. They rarely made it off the boat. -
