Yes, but they are "typically nasty, brutish, and short."

Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

That sucks. This was a good one. Old man talks about all the advancements of things and then mentions a Prostate exam procedure. :D

I used to wear a pair of these when I was a toddler. My mother said I would wear holes in everything I wore in a day playing outside but not the lederhosen. She said they were industrial strength. Made of thick leather and waterproof so, according to her, if I had an accident she'd just hose them off with the garden hose. I think she still has them somewhere.

When Destin FL was just a fishing destination
In the 1950s, Destin, Florida transitioned from a sleepy commercial fishing hamlet into the "World's Luckiest Fishing Village". Red snapper fishing was defined by pioneering charter captains, wooden and early custom motor vessels, and legendary local party boats.

Went with my father many times in the 1950's to catch Red Snapper and Black Grouper. There were a few motels but not much more. I got seasick for the only time in my life on my first trip out with my dad. I remember being on the Florida Girl.

Panama City FL was the place you went to go the beach and fishing. I don't remember going to downtown Panama City shown in this old post card ever.
