Tony Beets of Gold Rush fame said it first...Drill baby drill. ;)

Although he was referring to finding where "gold specks" were most concentrated on a plot of land.

Tony was/is an awesome gold miner!
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

You’re not entirely wrong @daddyjt, but people don’t always think that through.

    Overall, though:
    1. My home value has increased far faster than inflation, or my salary (when I still had one). It’s like a second 401(k) in reality. If I were to sell it, I could still buy something fabulous in Colorado (or elsewhere) with the proceeds.
    2. As mentioned previously, California limits property tax increases for existing owners so that they can’t outpace income, so our taxes are actually less of a burden in proportion to our income than they were 25 years ago.

Those that are in outstanding financial positions in Cali do well.
Just takes time to drive out the riff raff… to pay for the dream.

    Apologies…..

I have no complaints on our gas price here in Laramie, WY.
We are at $2.79 at our lowest price for regular.
