If you use an old torque converter for your potted
plant, you may be a redneck?

    A music event:

Savannah Music Festival: Kodō, Taiko Performing Arts Ensemble celebrate 40th anniversary

    Links to YouTube:
    Kodo - Irodori (Best one!)

    Kodo: Legacy

Kodō, the internationally renowned taiko drum ensemble from Sado Island in Japan, are (belatedly) celebrating their 40th anniversary by presenting a new dynamic work of seismic percussion at the 2023 Savannah Music Festival. Performance on

Kodō’s main focus is on taiko drums with as many as 30-50 taiko used in a standard performance (and some weighing as much as 882 lbs.), but they also incorporate other traditional Japanese instruments likefue (bamboo flute), shamisen (Japanese banjo), koto (harp), and narimono (metal percussion instruments).

Kodō currently has 37 performers ranging from 20 to 72 years of age, with 27 men and 10 women.

What: Savannah Music Festival: Kodō: Tsuzumi
    When: 8 p.m. March 25
Where: Lucas Theatre for the Arts, 32 Abercorn St.
    Cost: $35-70

Note: 06.26.1996 Nagano '98 Olympic organizers conducted a p.r. campaign to
promote the Winter Games in Atlanta. Traditional Japanese
"taiko" drums were played twice at the Olympic Village as part
of a cultural program that includes 35 entertainers.

I saw both performances and all I can say is LOUD and Unbelievable.

This is my bud's daughter, Elizabeth. She turns one on the 31st. I love this little girl and her 6yr old brother, Jeremiah as if they were my own kids. I'm Uncle Mike to many a little ones and happy to be so. Janey and I love to spoil 'em as far as their mom and dad's will let us. Just look at her! How could you not want to spoil this little princess?
