It was a little breezy at my place today.

^^^ Never had the patience nor the imagination in this area, especially for that #$%* instrument, and I don't know how those of you who play, do, but a tip 'o the hat to you all.
If you'll excuse me, I've got to get back to my lessons on the recorder now. I've almost got Alouette down.

What's amazing....?
While it was loud? It wasn't deafeningly loud. just....enjoyable. Bliss, if you will...
There were 2 songs I have been yearning to hear loud (really loud) all week....but didn't have the chance until just now. All I have to say is that dynamics matter. Holy crap, do they matter!
I can go to bed knowing that I can wake up at any given moment and enjoy what I just listened too....again, and again, and again...Life is good.

I see that it's a Ferrari but at first glace, I honestly thought it was a Lotus in Ferrari red.
Looking at the room in the back, I wonder why they even bothered putting in rear seats. Ikes!

That is a Ferrari 308 Dino GT4. In 1976, Elvis bought a 1975 model in black, which is still in the Graceland Automobile Museum.

I chatted briefly with the owner. He was coming back out to the car after I parked, and I was excited that he was going to fire-it-up, but alas, he had forgotten his grocery list, and was just coming back to get it

He told me the 308/GT4 was the last model where Enzo actually worked on the design. It has a 3L V-8, which (he said) was the only consumer production V-8 they ever sold. It was also the only consumer model ever raced at Le Mans. Again, his words, not mine.
Whatever the case, it is a beautiful car. I personally like the two-tone red and black. I wonder if those wheels are stock, or if the wire spokes were stock as shown in the black model above. Perhaps both were options at the time."This may not matter to you, but it does to me for various reasons, many of them illogical or irrational, but the vinyl hobby is not really logical or rational..." - member on Vinyl Engine
