Looks like the Runaways with a very young Joan Jett.
(not that I made a habit of following bands of teenage grrlz in those days)

Found this photo with an ad banner underneath. Thought it was relative to the incident which doesn't look very conventional to me.
By the looks of the dudes pants, it appears he had actually sprung an oil leak

!!!DRUNK DRIVING WARNING!!!
I know we are all responsible adults, but this is a warning to be careful about drink driving.
A couple of nights ago, I was out for a few drinks with some friends after work. One thing lead to another and I had a few too many pints and then topped it off with a couple of Jaeger bombs. Not a good idea. Knowing full well I was over the limit, I did something I’ve never done before...
I left my car in town and took a taxi home. Sure enough, I passed a police checkpoint where they were pulling over drivers and performing breathalyzer tests. Because I was in a taxi they just waved it past. I arrived home safely and without incident, which was a real surprise..
I've never driven a taxi before and I am not even sure where I got it from. -
I wonder just how many KW's will travel over these.....they were huge.

I've been meaning & meaning to snap a photo of this monstrosity without other weird ancillary equipment in the vicinity. Finally did so this afternoon -- although I should've cleaned the faceplate first
Found this rascal a few years back at the Grantham, NH dump in fully working condition -- needed to have the controls cleaned, of course. I use it with the R200s for music (2-channel), and I also have been using the preamp section more than occasionally as an active preamp with the "Simple 2A3" amplifier and the Frankenaltecs.

That very same model Yamaha powered my first serious HT setup - along with Polk LS70/CS350/LSFX and Pioneer S1 LD player. I used it for years after ward in the garage until the movers lost the remote in one of our moves.
