Would be cool if one of the Polk engineers popped into the forum and said what the internal and external changes improved on this edition. They were certainly working from a solid base for a speaker already.

Legit crossovers for sure, very unexpected and awesome.

Sand casts could also be easily upgraded to Mox or Path resistors with little effort it appears.

The R200 50th AE uses a real wood veneer, not a vinyl wrap.

Did they actually make the terminal cups from alloy? They look nice.

This is from Polk fest last year.

Bracing and such is the same.

The wood veneer is much better looking than vinyl

I won't be able to listen for a few days but I wanted to say

The fit and finish is world class. I'll tell anyone that Polk Audio easily makes one of the best products when it comes to fit and finish. Everything fits great, excellent veneer application, great seams etc. Really top notch finish quality. The crossovers are first rate for the price point.

Well worth price to entry folks!

Dammit! Now I want a pair. I figure I could sell my current R200's and that would soften the blow a bit. If this was a main rig decision they'd be here already. But, the office rig for me has to be a bit more restrained cost wise.

    Decisions, decisions.

    They look fantastic!

Do it!!! Seriously a great product

These would go on the office rig and moving the Wilson's and such is no easy endeavor, otherwise would be easier to give a review

I'll be keeping an eye on Ebay to see when someone starts to try and sell them at double the original price.
