  • They do look good.
  • I was told by a friend at the time, to try a set of Michelins on my 95-F150. They were on sale, so I bought 5 of them. These Michelins give me the best ride I've ever had in my truck. The previous BF Goodrich's were pretty nice too, but the Michelins float the truck better.

I liked my truck's ride so much, I bought Michelins for my 95 Camry. What a fantastic riding tire. My car has never ridden this nice either.

They're a little more but you sure get a PREMIUM ride for the extra cost.

The newest Consumer reports rated these tires #1 and the other #2 I believe. I now know why. :)

I'd bet those tires you just bought are 1st rate tires.

I never really could afford Michelin tires until this time around. Buy them if you can. You'll get the best ride your vehicle is capable of, tire wise. ;)
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

Trying out the Michelin X-ice Snows this winter instead of Nokians.

I have the X-ice on our MDX, Great quiet ride and amazing on wet roads, I do find them not as aggressive as the Toyo GSi-5 I had on our Rav. Our RDX has Yokohamas (got them when we bought the vehicle) They are more aggressive and louder but also have more of a squishy winter tire feel as did the Toyos. The Xice no squishy-ness what so ever. In all I'd say I preferred the Yokos over the xice and definitely over the Yokos. I also find the xice to lose a bit of grip when cornering in snow. Living in eastern ONT, we get mixed winters from rain and 10C one minute to -30C in a couple hours. In no way am I dissing the Xice they are very good just missing a bit of bite in deep snow.

The troops did get here without incident. A magnificent dinner was had and presents were exchanged, with our son & daughter-in-law virtually with us to watch their gifts to the grandchildren be opened (and enjoyed). We're now exhausted of course -- but a good day with the family. :)

  • Touche.

The placement of that... umm... Christmas cactus is actually holiday-related, and that little Sangean radio, although it acquits itself nicely playin' Vermont Public Radio, isn't quite audio equipment. ;)
