I often kick myself in the rear end for selling them, they were near mint in condition and sounded very good after all the mods. I just preferred the presentation of the 3.1TL's by a small margin, and only had so much room to store speakers.

Looks like a good Winter Project. I'm listening to some 3.1TL's that were soo rough when I got them, I had to not only replace the cloth, I also had to replace the grill frames and the side panels because they were so stained with pet urine.
Replaced the top and bottom caps as they were beat to crap as well. Amazingly the front bezel and backs, including all the drivers were in excellent condition, the only reason I bought them
They have turned out to be some of the best pair of SDA's I've had over the years.

My 2b's were a basket case as well. A challenge it is to fix up some of these old, abused speakers. One I love to tackle. Ones man's junk is.....

This was a freebie set 2b studios that I was given. Thought for sure I would part them out when I first saw them. A couple hours later I changed my mind.
