Our new rescue kitten.

Zoe, our dog has a very high prey drive. If the kitten takes off a cross the room she is in pursuit. We have had to get onto her a few times. Other than that is is very gentle with him.

Here's a really nice photo of a Technics RS1500 tape deck

Russian, but still a cool picture.

Here's a photo of farmers harvesting lilies.

Here's a nice photo of a seldom seen Denon DH-710 tape deck that has a very good reputation for sound quality.

Well -- that's an obscure deck (at least, to US eyes).
It looks very purposeful.
The transport looks kind of TEAC-y (or, perhaps more accurately, TASCAM-y).

Never understood why they called it "BUFF".

It's definitely big.
you don't think it's ugly?
I mean, it is purposeful.
BPFF would be hard to pronounce -- unless you're Bill the Cat.

Here's a photo of Magic Johnson enjoying his music (record handling aside). -
Figured he was a ReVox man
EDIT: Nice Nak cassette deck, too!
Oh -- and I am guessing, seeing that 'dome' on the dustcover, that maybe that's an early SL-1200 he's gonna spin that disk upon...

Since we don’t know where we are going we have to stick together in case someone gets there….Ken Kesey.
Idolizing a politician is like believing the stripper REALLY likes you.
And the boots you lick will stomp you too. -
My mom expressed interest in having a stereo after seeing the beautiful garbage picked Fisher reciever.
Built some prototype speaker stands for some JBL Arena 130 i had layin' around for the Fisher Rig.

The deck is a B77, I wonder what the component on the upper right hand shelf is. I think that's a Warner Brothers label on the record.
-
No idea, although there appears to be a Mac tuner under it.
Maybe an MR-80?
(the other three pieces of Mac equipment are pretty self-evident)
Yes, late 1970s WB label, indeed.

Here's a listening room with three Studer A-820 decks.

Here's a photo of the three turntables.

Really, what the hell is that stuff?

This Steve Hoffman mastered single pointed out stark differences between speakers and amps tonight....
....but very little audible difference between the headphone amp in the ma9000 vs. Rs-1022.
Both using the ma9000's phono stage.
🤔very interesting -
