My dear wife (who is also a life scientist by training, although more bio than chemical, in her case) just shared this with me -- I thought that some here might find it amusing, as well.

I did edit out one somewhat political entry from the screenshot of this PDF file, in full disclosure.

Am I the only one who finds it a trifle odd that the blurb for this amp reports "peak power", like a boom box?

yeah, I saw that, too -- amusing that google gives the idiomatic definition ahead of the actual one in a set of links :|

I was wondering why he didn’t post the entire ad which should have shown RMS power. Granted, peak power should be given at the end of the ad, if at all.

It was only a screen shot. I did not see that it said peak power there. Lol

    PMPO, baby!

I did think it was kind of odd that a company like that'd even mention "peak power" -- I mean, what does peak power mean from a measurement standard point. Is that just before the amp takes down the grid?

    1. Never seen one. But I know you cannot hang a pigeon. Don't ask how I know this.
    2. I have re-fueled a GM PD-4104 several times.
    3. This summer, one mile from my house.
    4. Possibly. How far along?

#4, I've seen many that were flying into Seattle to have thier babies. Found a few inadmissible to the US and sent them back. If it were upto me I would have sent all of them back as they only come here to have the baby in the US so they are US citizens and when the kid turns 21 they can petition for anyone from China to become legal permanent residents. Then US Citizens.

If they did not have enough cash on hand to pay for the birth in the US we refused them and sent them home. That still does not mean they paid their hospital bill for the birth. And US citizens footed the bill.
