Sweet!
I was listening to GU Nick Warren - Brazil last night.
Caleb, we have tons of electronic between me and Drew. Do you have a way to play digital files thru your system?

Sweet, I have not listened to that one for a long time. I have a hard drive full of electronic music, but most of it is 320k and under. Not great for a good stereo. I have sone Sasha, Nick Warren and John Digweed in FLAC, but that's about it for HQ stuff.

Any Twenty One Pilots fans out there? Even though it’s youtube quality, this was fun to listen to on the ol SDA's!
Just finished watching this. Very impressive recording! Not really my cup of tea but when my daughter and her friend came running out of their room yelling "OMG!" I figured I'd better listen to the whole thing (as a family of course...)

I went through this whole thread a few weeks ago, but I don't recall seeing this one...
Lou Reed - Walk On The Wild Side
I waited to post, because I wanted to make sure of what I remember from over 20 years ago when I last heard my 1As. After getting them working again, I can confirm that this is one of the best SDA tracks out there. I use it to demonstrate SDA to people and to freak out my friends.
When the colored girls go, "Doo da-doo, doo da-doo, doo-da-doo ..." They walk up from way behind the speakers to in front of the speaker, whereas on regular speakers, they are in the same position and just get louder.
I don't know if this is because the tweeters are in the SDA circuit. I would have expected others to comment on it, so I'm wondering if it is unique to pre-third generation SDAs.
Can anyone reproduce this? I've heard it in 2 different rooms. I've had rooms where I didn't hear it too, if the speakers are too close together and you're not far enough back.
