Fishing in our pond has become useless with all the turtles in there. Catch them more than fish. And we have Snook in there. It is fed off brackish water.

'twas Hayday at our house today.
Since 1994 (when we bought this property), our farmer-neighbors have hayed our back field (which is contiguous to* one of their fields) -- a win-win for both of us.
Today Farmer Steve (who turned 80 this year
) rolled in with one of their big Kubotas and cut the field -- a gorgeous, warm (not hot), dry and sunny day. There's a reason why the old saying goes Make hay while the sun shines. That's the time to do it!

Crooked was intentional to make the holes miss the bracing so HA! It was PLANNED!
