For some reason cats like to sit in squares. You might want to make a few "cat traps" on the floor to keep him off your turntable. We tried this with my girlfriends cats and it works.
Here are more pics. Works every time.

They love boxes too -- even it's too small.
Expect that there will be bumps in the road. Choose to not let them rattle you.

I tried the square last night except with green frog tape. Neither cat went near it as one would expect when you want a cat to behave a certain way."Sometimes you have to look to the past to understand where you are going in the future"Harry / Marietta GA

Your idea of peace is a shack that fell into a river, with a power plant in the background?
Uganda is calling your name.

I mean, he is the Lightman -- the power plant is probably very reassuring to him.

You've seen photos of him puttering in his workshop, right?

I love this time of year...

Photo was taken with an ultra-wide angle lens, which is why the chair(s) on the far left of the image look so wide. -

An epic Figure 1.
I mean, I've had some good Figure 1s (Figures 1) over my career, but nothin' of that caliber.

At my end, put me in a SDA-SRS BIG BOY!

Last month I took some photos of these interesting vintage portable Zenith tube radios that my dad had:

Very nice.
heh, there used to be one of those (or, at least, pretty similar) here
Zenith made many good radios, and more than a few great radios, in their prime.
Here's a photo of it while it was receiving a CAT Scan (standard diagnostic technique -- at least at our house).
