    Fluance turntables have been getting some pretty good reviews. I'm on the wait list for the RT85, but have been waiting a couple months. Looks like the Amazon prices are $30 less than direct from Fluance, but they only have the RT80 and RT81. Nice deal!

    I've got the RT82 and it's pretty nice. I saw no point for me to go with the RT83 as I already have "upgraded" cart options. Fluance must be having massive issues with getting the acrylic platters right because the RT84/85 haven't been in stock since they launched the new line of turntables.

    They are good, but not 800 good. I’d go 200 given how old they are (they don’t even make the 40s, they stopped after v5.0 IIRC and they are on v9.0)
