You buy a set... I sold a set... of LS90s although it was yesterday. I loved them for a lot of years. I wanted to put my Def. Tech. BP30s in their place. I planned on doing an A/B but a friend gave me what I wanted so they're in his home now. I played the BP30s tonight. Both are great in their own rights. I'm ok with the downsizing.

I thought I was going to sell my RT3000P speakers but after showing that friend how they sound...I'm attached to their awesomeness all-over again. :s

I'm still looking for audio stuff around this quadrant of the US. I have a habit of looking at Craig's list and the Polk Forum a lot on some days.

Then on some days, I search the Cities around me too. But I have to clear house, I know. ;)

How do these compare to entry level subs from SVS?

Well it's currently a $1K sub , sealed, servo amp and high level inputs so I'd say way better esp. for music. I get the impression it's one of the older ones but still a great deal. He had 2 for sale and I bought the first one which was better cosmetically but I also paid quite a bit more than he's asking for this one. New ones are on back order so I'd say they are pretty popular.

Millard Schools are very good. I went to Omaha Westside. This does look like a very nice package at $700, for someone. I have too much now that I need to clear out and SDA's to upgrade as I have the rings, dreadnought transformer, Larry's case... Just need to make (find) time to do it all. :)

Dave...Are you going to get this set? The pre is a 4,000.00 pre alone when it was new.

I'd quickly ask the forum and be calling the seller at the same time. This would be my toes dipping into Parasound stuff in a great way. You know me and Cds! :p

They might've meant to say 1200.00 for each piece. That would get near their 3500 on ebay.

    Man that's a pretty set!!

And I don't call very much audio stuff pretty either!

And I have the money too. Maybe they'll take the 1200.00 from one of us Polkies!

Pawn shops around here were giving GREAT electronic pricing as the market went to smart phones about 10 years ago or more.
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

Good old craigslist Chicago where high end gear is listed daily. One can put together something pretty amazing for 50% off retail or less with negotiation and luck.
Wheel and deal on the above then head up to Milwaukee and pickup an amazing DAC, the PS Audio Sr or the Jr.
