Other; M10 series II, M7C's, Hafler XL600 amp, RB-980BX, Parasound HCA-1500 amp , P5 preamp, all in storage. All vintage Polk have had crossover rebuilds and tweeter upgrades.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: KEF and NAD have great synergy together.

Those look profoundly audiophile unapprovable - despite a sticker that says Cables Online. ;)

Obligatory "only as strong as your weakest link" comment. I personally wouldn't want to use these with a nice aftermarket power cord, for fear that I was degrading the performance of said cord by having something inferior in the path.

Even I would agree -- although that kind of thinking might lead some more heretical minds to think about the wire that is inside their hifi components... or even (gasp) the PC board traces.

    I will stop now. :)

Hehe. I wondered that too. But they’re stout. The guts look comparable to some of the IEC sockets in my rigs. Gonna take em for a spin!

So I hooked it up to the office rig, via variable line level outputs from the Peachtree. Worked for a hot minute, was getting ready to tune it a bit and it stopped. Power light remains on. What?

I then decided to connect it to my living room rig via a Rocketfish wireless sub transmitter (currently the Polk DSWi600 is there), via LFE, and same thing. Worked for a hot minute, then nothing.

I contacted the seller, and he is going to reach out to SVS tomorrow, since it's still under warranty! Ugh, but hopes for a good outcome!
