Well, I'm not sure that's the best choice in medium for a $15 dual well cassette deck ;)

In fact, as I think about it, perhaps @verb should be the next caretaker of this prized artifact from Milli Vanilli...

I have lots of good memories making tapes for the car, mix tapes for my Ex and sister in law's Walkmans. It was a thing back in the 80s. It was an evening or two spent picking songs, a few adult beverages, and engaging with the music.
If I had a daily driver that only had a lowly Cassette player, I'd have no problem digging out my Nak, replacing the belts, and making tapes again. The old tech with Dolby B or C NR is more than adequate for the noise floor in a typical automobile.

It's a Pioneer CT-F2121 -- an early 'quasi-front load' deck of impeccable aesthetics (IMO, at any rate).

I have a similar Yamaha model (imagine that?!) -- TC511S.

Cassette Deck is now fully de-magnetized. Subtle, but noticeable improvement!

Here's an older TECHNICS I have that worked but I think it crashed. I still have about 5 other more modern decks. Even a Nak basic deck that needs a belt I think.

I like the looks of this a lot. Who wouldn't. :p
