    Those SRS’s look nice, but that’s McIntosh is where it’s at. Something about backlit tuners/power meters (especially of the green variety) looks amazing to me. :)

    Yep. I was looking at the XO plate and counting the number of screws. However there was a transitional model with the same XO plate with the pin/blade socket.

  • Exactly. Whenever I see a pic of the big boys, the first thing I want to know is what type of IC socket does it have. All the other stuff is irrelevant (# of XO plate screws, type of tweeter, label on back of speaker, binding post nut + and - orientation).

    They are still around BUT, he is not back in town until Friday. I am going out of town that Saturday and wont be back until the 21st. 25th I go in for surgery. Trying to see what I can work out to grab them for you.
