I have heard the Gallo sound good but i have also heard it has an external bass amp that i do not see listed in that sale. From my understanding, the bass amp isn't necessary but, it doesn't sound right without it

This seems like a steal for a Parasound HCA-800 mark II...
Any of you guys think this would stand a chance against the LSi’s, or should aim for better?
Planning ahead here, not getting an amplifier just yet.

The Lsi line would work with an amp like that, they just won’t sound their best. But for $110 the options are slim anyway. Depends on what your goals are really.

$110 is not my limit for sure. I just saw that for pretty cheap, and thought it may work. -

I've always kind of wished I'd held onto my 15's just so I could switch them out with the 705's for kicks once in a while...

I've never put ears on the 705s, nor the lsim series for that matter, but everyone says their is no comparison. Maybe some day. -
That's how I remember the change going from the 15's to the 705's, but my wife tells me I don't remember anything correctly and sometimes I start to believe her.

Are those power cables on the Krell’s not removable? I think that if your going that high end, that would be a necessity.

Those amps are class A, high voltage....some manufacturers don't want Timmy playing around with a lesser quality cable. Know what I'm saying ? It's not an oversight.HT SYSTEM-

I just imagine cranking up like Zeppelin or Floyd and walking outside just to witness your electric meter spinning out of control like a gyroscope on steroids.... -
