Mission 780 Argonaut MK II, not as good as the MK I but still great speakers, no affiliation.

Looks like he raised the price to $375, and the original price of $300 was about what they are worth I believe. It may still be considered a deal though, because we may not see another pair of them for sale in America for years.

With this beauty, I might not mind at all. :D :s :#

I've owned a Sansui 717 and that tuner before. Also an equalizer to match. I regretted selling it years ago. Heck, this might be the same set. I paid 40.00 for that Sansui set at a school's tennis player fundraiser.
And I was late getting there. :#

Man, did my heart get to racing with JOY when the man replied to my inquiry to if it was still for sale and if so, how much?....
40.00 OK? he asked me. :o

I answered; Yea...I guess so. :) :p It worked beautifully and man was it powerful!

A friend of mine had one 1974-76 era, he used it for many years, well-built, mid-level quality table. I don't think they have a large following as others, and as such, don't resell at higher prices. I think $250.00 is top, top dollar! It would have to have a newer mid-level cartridge or better to considered at that price. I see them all they time for less, but did not investigate the condition of any of them.

Nope, no email. I was supposed to be contacted Mon.. IF the first person on Mon. didn't want it or they couldn't come up with the cash, which happens some times.

But as of now, I missed it or part of it. :/ :#

NAD 20 tower speakers and shipping coffins. Those cases alone are probably worth the price.

I'd buy those Missions and stands more than likely. I'm going to the web for comparisons and check reviews somewhere too.

I just looked...Why are they so cheap on eBay? China cabinets?

300.00 OMRP is why. Man, I'm tempted...but I'll go look for reviews now. I found a Stereophile review and they were VERY well reviewed! Maybe offer 80.00. or even 50. , who knows.
