Other; M10 series II, M7C's, Hafler XL600 amp, RB-980BX, Parasound HCA-1500 amp , P5 preamp, all in storage. All vintage Polk have had crossover rebuilds and tweeter upgrades.

So I'm having a difficult time finding the rubber piece for the inside of the clamp, I know it doesn't have to be exactly the same for what it does but I would at least like something close..
Anyone have any ideas I'm all ears.. -

It really works as a spring, as you loosen the clamp it helps open the collet..

Ok so you need a high durometer low surface friction piece... How much compression are you typically seeing?

I would say about 0.060 to 0.090 its really hard to tell with the piece inside the clamp..
The piece is 1.000 in length..

Ok in that case, I'd recommend a large (thick) undersized O ring supported by a nylon collar. The ring will act like a spring with low friction. A square O ring will be more aggressive but harder to source.
