There is no list, these are a few weeks out till they are a go, still have a couple things to figure out, but we can have fun with it till the time comes..

Only a couple people have seen pictures of the progress of these, we are getting close but still work to be done.

This will be a one time and done deal, the only reason I am truly doing this is because I have always wanted one, and this is the only way. So only a handful of these will be available...

But you said 8 to 10, Larry.
    That's two handfuls.

I'm in the process of building one, and, I'm starting with a record clamp first.

Does anyone remember if Larry said this about the "RINGS"? One time and done deal?

Need some education here, what is the main purpose of a clamp? Improve tracking ability? Improve sound(how)?
I really don't need improved tracking with my cart but I'm all for better sound.
Yep, my name really is Bob.

Larry has on occasion run the rings, and I dont think its ever been stated its one and done (correct me if I'm wrong), however WHEN he runs them is based on his schedule, desire to do so, and of course ensuring enough demand is there to justify the material used.

So it happens on occasion, but like the eclipse, not that often, so when it does, buy them for ANY SDA you think you might own and then just hoard them

Main purpose of The Clamp was to flatten warped vinyl. It has other sonic benefits to most ears in the form of more positive coupling with platter.

Yeah, I read that clamping to couple reduces resonance and acoustic vibration of the record itself, resulting in better focus and detail. (from KAB, maker of one of the other clamps I'd considered for the SL-1200/1210)
